On Thursday, November 2nd, the Camden County Bar Association, Camden Vicinage, and the Superior Court of New Jersey are presenting a legal ethics and professionalism seminar titled “The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.” The purpose of the event is to discuss conduct in and out of the courtroom and how ethics and professionalism converge for those in the legal industry.

Some of the topics discussed include criminal litigation, depositions, settlement negotiations, family law litigation, and discovery. Davis & Mendelson’s own Howard Mendelson is on the faculty for this event, which provides a total of 2 CLE hours for attendees in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Those who intend to come to the event and hear from the comprehensive lineup of speakers need to register by October 31, 2017. A fee of $35 for CCBA members will apply. Pre-registration for the event is required, so act now if you’re interested in attending. These seminars are intended as a way to learn more about critical issues in the legal landscape and to highlight best practices and actions within the field.

Attorney Mendelson will be presenting a program about professionalism, a key topic for attorneys in all practice areas. Proper representation of clients and considering both professionalism and ethics in all legal situations is important for attorneys in NJ. Professionalism is a cornerstone of the approach for the lawyers at Mendelson & Davis, who put client needs first and endeavor to fully understand the complete picture of the legal matter at hand. Attorney Mendelson believes that representing clients doesn’t begin and end in court- it’s about the mission statement of the law firm and how that’s used to protect the interests of the client as fully and effectively as possible while maintaining high standards for excellence.
