Camden County Family Law Attorney Howard MendelsonDavis and Mendelson is proud to announce that Howard Mendelson will be a speaker at a live seminar offered by the National Business Institute’s Series of Continuing Legal Education for Professionals.  The course, Special Education Laws Made Simple, spells out schools’ obligations and options under special education laws, and offers a practical guide to FAPE, LRE, and due process. This course is being offered on Monday, December 10, 2018, at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center of Toms River and again on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the Holiday Inn Philadelphia-Cherry Hill starting at 9:00 and wrapping up at 4:30 on both days.

Program Description

This in-depth course will review the legal requirements and procedures under special education laws and will examine common pitfalls to avoid. Attendees will be given the opportunity to learn from other schools’ missteps in applicable case studies, and get compliance tips from experienced attorney faculty on evaluating students, managing behavioral issues, making placement decisions, developing IEPs, and handling due process proceedings.
