Mary Elizabeth (Sasso) Mendelson currently resides in Voorhees, New Jersey. She has lived in Southern New Jersey for most of her life. She
received a B.A. from Montclair State College and a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law (Camden), where she graduated with Honors in International Law. Ms. Mendelson has been a member of the New Jersey Bar Association since 1989. She and her husband, Howard Mendelson, Esquire, have raised four children together in Voorhees. Ms. Mendelson has been an active volunteer at her church, her children’s schools and for various civic associations while raising her children and taking time off from the practice of law. Mrs. Mendelson has served as a past Vice-President for E.T. Hamilton Elementary School’s Parent Faculty Association, and currently serves as Secretary for Voorhees Theatre Company’s Board of Directors. She also chairs the Play Selection Committee and the By-Laws Committee for Voorhees Theatre Company. Ms. Mendelson began her legal career as a family attorney and, now that the youngest of her four children is ready, she is excited to be returning back to the practice of family law; where she can now utilize both her legal training and real life experience to make “real differences for real people” in the areas of family law and education law.
