Supp. 2d 345 (D.N.J. 2002), affirmed 2003WL21357251 (3rd Cir. 2003) remaining leading cases in the areas of constitutional protections in the context of the public school system and confines of a school district’s special education responsibilities.
KOURTNEY A. BORCHERS, ESQUIRE was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 18, 1971.
Kourtney A. Borchers attended the State University in Mankato, Minnesota, where she graduated summa cum laude in 1993. Ms. Borchers graduated from Dickinson School of Law in 1996. After the birth of her two oldest children, Ms. Borchers began practicing law in 1998. She began as an associate with the law firm of Quinlan, Dunne & Daily, P.A. in Merchantville, New Jersey, where she established a reputation as an excellent litigator and advocate of her clients in the context of both family law and employment law matters. It was her litigation skills and visible integrity that attracted Mr. Mendelson to ask her to join the firm of Davis & Mendelson, L.L.C., in the early part of 2002. Eventually, Mr. Mendelson was able to convince Ms. Borchers to come on board and, as such, since July of 2002, Ms. Borchers has been representing the clients of Davis & Mendelson consistent with the reputation she had previously established with Quinlan, Dunne & Daily, P.A. Ms. Borchers is an active member of the Thomas S. Forkin American Family Law Inn of Court and serves as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist in both Camden and Gloucester Counties. Ms. Borchers enjoys the practice of law and particularly helping those persons going through the difficult emotional and legal aspects of separation and divorce. She offers her clients the unique combination of superior intellect, competence as a legal practitioner and compassion of someone who cares. She is both an incredible lawyer and human being and, as such, Davis & Mendelson is proud to have her as a part of our legal team. Ms. Borchers is also an active member of the Young Lawyers Committee and Family Law Committee of the Camden County Bar Association.
